The absence of Iron Man is one of Doctor Strange’s regrets in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Previously, there were numerous reports that actor Tom Cruise would play Iron Man in another MCU universe, but this did not occur in the second installment of Doctor Strange. Iron Man – Tony Stark is treated even worse in Doctor Strange 2!

The absence of Iron Man is one of the things that confuses Marvel fans when the Illuminati group appears in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In the comics, Iron Man is a powerful member of the Illuminati and the most visible representative of the Avengers. During filming, however, Captain Carter took over this role. This detail disappointed many viewers, and it was even more heartbreaking when Wanda “wiped out” the Illuminati group of Universe 838 in just a few notes.
Ultron’s Success Without Iron Man,

But, behind Ultron’s success (in the MCU), there is no small merit of Iron Man, and the fact that no one has mentioned Marvel’s talented billionaire when discussing Ultron is truly heinous.
Iron Man was able to survive the Endgame battle.
The Illuminati team revealed a rather shocking truth to the audience in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That is, in many universes, the superhero team defeats Thanos. Professor X’s leadership helped the Illuminati team defeat the Titan’s plan to “fake color” half of the universe’s population. This demonstrates that Iron Man could have survived the previous Endgame battle. somehow, but in the end, he sacrificed his entire life.
